Bookkeeper

Small-medium sized winery in Okanagan Falls looking for a competent bookkeeper.

The successful candidate must have the following skills:  Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, maintain high standards in all aspects of work, excellent attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

Full-Time

Hours: 30-35 hours/week, Monday-Friday

 

Experience

  • Full cycle bookkeeping including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Government remittance, including GST, PST, WCB and Payroll.
  • Prior experience using Sage including payroll module
  • Payroll
  • Tracking of employee time sheets
  • Knowledge of employment standards regulations
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Cash balancing to income reports
  • Preparation of daily cash balancing reports
  • Preparation of bank deposits
  • Filing
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Independent worker
  • Performing any other office and operations related tasks as assigned
  • Responding to client queries in personal and professional manner
  • Computer proficiency in basic office applications and email
  • Good English communication skills -verbal and written
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, minimum of 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping

Compensation:

Salary is to be commensurate with experience.
