Location

Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars is located in the Okanagan Valley region of British Columbia.

Comprised of one great long valley and the low-lying mountains that flank it, the Okanagan starts at the centre mark of the shared border of British Columbia and Washington State (USA).

The valley stretches northward from the town of Osoyoos to Vernon. Two major lakes, Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake run down the centre of the valley with many other smaller lakes adding to the beauty of the area. Blue Mountain overlooks spectacular Vaseaux Lake which is surrounded by a protected wilderness preserve. The winery is located about 45 minutes from the Canada/US border near the small town of Okanagan Falls. From Vancouver, it's about a five hour drive to the area. The nearest town with major air access is Penticton, about 30 minutes north of Blue Mountain.
